Bud Payne – Lifetime Achievement Award

The Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce recently honored E.M. “Bud” Payne, President & CEO of the Payne Dealer Group with the prestigious “2021 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Bud has been previously honored as the 2012 Weslaco Area Chamber of Commerce “Man of the Year” and “2000 Landowner of the Year.”

Bud has served as President of the Rio Grande Valley Partnership as well as, the Valley Auto Dealers Association.

Payne Auto Group continues to be very supportive of the local communities through non profit groups, local jobs and scholarships for local schools.

Bud serves on the Board of Directors of Greater State Bank which has four locations in McAllen, Weslaco, Falfurrias and Hebbronville.

Bud and his wife Marlee reside in Weslaco.
