    Teller – McAllen TX

    Full-Time Position

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform.

    • Proactively acquiring new customer relationships, leveraging centers of influence through daily conversations
    • Uses profiling methods to uncover and understand the customer’s financial needs, to find solutions and refer customers to bank partners for specialized products
    • Provides world-class customer service and creates a positive banking experience
    • Works with customers to resolve customer service issues
    • Performs various account maintenance
    • Performs vault functions as necessary
    • Actively contributes to team’s success
    • Balance teller drawer, verify accuracy of posted transactions
    • Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations, and all established bank policies and procedures
    • Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner.

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    • Minimum of Six (6) months prior experience of sales and service
    • Minimum of Six (6) months cash handling experience
    • Strong communications skills
    • Experience using personal computers, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
    • Must be able to work flexible hours as scheduled (Monday through Friday, and Saturday rotation)
    • Banking experience is desired
    • High level customer sales and service experience is desired
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired

  • Credit Analyst

    Analyst

    Full-Time Position

    Credit Analyst duties are as follow:

    The Credit Analyst position provides high level support to the Commercial Lending team on day-to-day activities. Assumes responsibility and is accountable for adherence to Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to banking. This position is responsible for the financial analysis and credit quality of commercial borrowers.

    The daily duties consist of the following:

    • Work closely with the Commercial Lending Team in analyzing all relevant loan information on new and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus and other relevant financial information.
    • Prepares thorough and concise narratives, spread sheets, reports, summaries and opinions for loan Officers on new, renewal and existing loans within established deadlines.
    • Effectively communicate with Customers, Loan Officers, and Bank Management in a clear, accurate, and concise manner.
    • Participates in Bank-wide projects with less specific direction and management while being a large contributor in volume and quality and meeting established deadlines.
    • Manages a high volume of loan activity through new originations while maintaining confidentiality regarding the portfolio.
    • Creates and maintains solid working relationship with Loan Officers and other team members.
    • Work closely with Senior Lender on any other duties as defined by management.
    • Other duties as assigned or requested by management.

    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
    • Minimum 3-5 years of credit analysis experience.
    • Six months experience with credit systems.
    • Possesses specific area of underwriting expertise in one or more areas of lending
    • Knowledge of accounting sufficient to understand and analyze the relationships between the different financial statements, in order to produce a written analysis.

  • Accounting Specialist

    Accounting Specialist

    Full-Time Position

    The Accounting Specialist is responsible for the reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Prepares reconciliations of general ledger accounts on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis as required.
    • Records fixed assets purchases, sales, and/or disposals.
    • Process accounts payable as needed.
    • Scans and maintains records of retention.
    • Assist in month end closing of the financial statements.
    • Prepares information and responds to requests from auditors and examiners.
    • Performs other duties or projects as assigned.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum 1–3 years of general accounting experience required.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
    • Deadline-driven with excellent time management ability.
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Ability to work independently and on a team.
    • Acute attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficient in English.
    • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities.
    • Must have strong computer skills, with an emphasis on Excel, Word, Outlook and Adobe PDF.
    • Assures compliance with federal and state regulations and all policies and procedures.
