Greater State Bank Sponsors Food Bank RGV’s 2024 Farm Dinner

Greater State Bank Sponsors Food Bank RGV’s 2024 Farm Dinner

If you give a man a fish, he’ll eat for a day; if you teach a man to fish, he’ll eat for a lifetime.” On January 26, it was our privilege to contribute toward teaching community members to “fish,” or in this case, farm!

As a sponsor of the 2024 Farm Dinner hosted by Food Bank RGV, we had the honor of helping them raise money for their Gem Valley Farm.

Food Bank RGV uses this farm to teach community members how to raise their own food, pursue nutrition, and pass on the knowledge of farming to future generations. Our staff enjoyed an exquisite, 5-course dinner paired with amazing hospitality.

THANK YOU, Food Bank RGV, for your warm welcome and for giving us the opportunity to support the life-changing work you are doing in the Valley!
