Greater State Bank Is The Small Business Administration’s 2nd Top Lender

We are proud to announce that the Lower Rio Grande Valley District Office of the Small Business Administration (SBA) has named Greater State Bank their 2nd top 7(a) program lender in the area in the last fiscal year.

The SBA’s 7(a) business loan program makes it possible for small businesses to secure funding when they have otherwise failed to get the financing they need through conventional lending channels. This program expands funding opportunities to small businesses, supporting their growth and benefiting their communities with economic development.

As a 7(a) program participant, Greater State Bank loaned $2,159,300 to eight small businesses over the last fiscal year. Our success is an indication of our ongoing commitment to the financial and economic success of our communities, and our passion for supporting the financial needs of small businesses in our area.

We look forward to continuing to offer 7(a) program loans to small businesses in the area, alongside our many other business loans, checking accounts, merchant services, and other business-centric financial tools.
