In Mid-November, Greater State Bank welcomed Bertha Suarez and Thelma Marroquin to the GSB family at the Weslaco Branch. Bertha has been in banking for 43 years and Thelma 31 years in the Mid-Valley area; with the last 24 years working together. Combined they bring  74 years of banking experience and wisdom to the Bank. They have both lived their entire lives in the Mid-Valley and have given back to the community by staying active in many service organizations. Thelma has come on board as a Personal Banker in Weslaco, and Bertha is Senior Vice President Commercial Loan Officer & Branch Manager of the Weslaco Branch. In December 2018, the Board of Directors appointed Bertha Suarez as an Advisory Board Member. Greater State Bank is proud to have Bertha and Thelma as part of the GSB Family.
