Greater State Bank Honors Veterans At Longoria Middle School

Last week, we were honored to attend a Veterans Day Celebration at Longoria Middle School along with our staff member Mr. Elias Longoria who was invited to speak as the man after whom the school is named.

Mr. Longoria is a Korean War veteran, served on the Edinburg School Board for nine years, and coached baseball in Edinburg for over 25 years. He is a true pillar of the Edinburg community, and we were delighted to see him recognized at this special event.

His message to the students was one of service and dedication. He spoke about the importance of giving back to your community and making a difference in the lives of others. He also shared his own experiences as a veteran and the lessons he learned from his time in the military.

We are grateful to Mr. Longoria for sharing his time and wisdom with the students of Longoria Middle School. He is an inspiration to us all, and we are proud to have him as a member of the Greater State Bank family.

Thank you, Mr. Elias Longoria, for your service to our country and our community!
