Greater State Bank was proud to participate in the 16th annual Texas Cook’Em: High Steaks BBQ competition in Edinburg.

The July 2 event featured Greater State Bank and other competitors from around the state battling it out to cook the best barbecue, from chicken and ribs to steak and brisket.

While Greater State Bank did not go home with the $25,000 prize, they did enjoy exciting participation in a popular community event.

The Texas Cook’Em: High Steaks is an annual competition designed to bring the community together in celebration of great barbecue. With all-day festivities, a fireworks show, skydiving, and a car-truck show, the event draws families and individuals from across the Valley.
